Girls Rock! DC works at the intersection of art and activism, providing music programs for young people to learn, grow, and rock out together. We foster a supportive, inclusive, and equitable space that centers girls and non-binary youth, especially Black and Brown youth. Our unique approach to music education -- through a social justice and equity lens -- has allowed DC's young folks to explore their passion for social change through our after-school programs, camps, and workshops.
